Nature Rewilding
‘Nature Rewilding’ is a sophisticated vibrant contemporary Womenswear collection for SS22, prints are inspired by plants in their natural forms and overgrown nature. My initial concept evolved during lockdown while staying at my family home, as I observed the cottage garden in its unkempt state from spring to autumn. From research into nature’s effect on our well-being, I became inspired by Japan’s overarching philosophy of nature. The Japanese practice of ‘forest bathing’ and Japanese artists’ use of colour, style, and printing techniques come together in this collection.
